We do not seek to be appreciated for celibacy, but rather for being who we truly are! The St. John of the Cross Way of Love is a group that everyone can join at any location where there are at least three people who have decided that they want to take up the practice. The St. John of the Cross Way of Love facilitators offer guided visits throughout all nine months (from September 1 through August 31) in which all visitors may participate (group meetings alternate with private sessions). Guided visits and group meetings follow the traditional templates for both male and female participants:The St. John of the Cross Way of Love seeks to promote understanding between men and women regarding issues such as celibacy, chastity, marriage, sexuality, etc. Findings from our study indicate that these issues are not as difficult as some would believe. In fact, we find that most people experience a sense of relief after coming out of their "shells" and speaking to others about their own experiences with celibacy, chastity and marriage. The St. John of the Cross Way of Love does not advocate any specific sexual activity or behavior; nor do we condemn any specific religion one may belong to. cfa1e77820
