Dubbed The Chak Full 720 720p Kickass Video Video

Chak De India is a sports film starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Shimit Amin. Released in 2007, it tells the story of former national hockey player, Capt. Kabir Khan who has been given the job of coaching the Indian women's hockey team to victory in order to redeem himself for his family's honour and cultural pride. The film's title "Chak De!" (Hindi: छक दी!, Urdu: بڑس دے!) expresses optimism and zeal; loosely translated, it means "Go for it!". It also refers to Chakra - a spinning discus-like weapon used in Hindu mythology. The phrase "Chak De" was used as a motivational slogan by the Indian Cricket Team during the 2003 Cricket World Cup This film is about a former captain of Indian hockey team, Kabir Khan (played by Shah Rukh Khan) coach the Indian women's hockey team. Kabir Khan returns home to his hometown after becoming disillusioned with professional hockey in the United Kingdom. He is persuaded to become one of the coaches for the national women's hockey team under his old coach Mahabir 'Bhaiyyaji' Sharma (played by Boman Irani). The job would mean that Kabir would have to temporarily give up his Western way of living and accommodate himself to those traditional ways. Mahabir is a proud man and it is a distinct honour for him to have Kabir Khan as his assistant. In the months before the team's departure, Kabir struggles with his feelings that he has been thrown into a situation where he no longer belongs. He refuses to express these feelings publicly for fear of being ostracised from his own people. However, after a heated argument between them, he is forced to tell Mahabir how he feels about their relationship and the pressure put on him by the Indian Olympic Committee (IOC). He confesses that he no longer wants to train and coach this team and if they go on like this, they will lose the gold at next year's Olympics. Mahabir is determined to train his son an Olympic Gold medal winner. He refuses to listen to Kabir's pleas and instead orders him to train the team even though they are close to qualifying. Kabir finally concedes when he learns that even though his contract is valid until 2007, Mahabir intends to give all the credit for victory at Beijing 2008 back to him, because he failed in London 2002. Whilst training in the mountains, the team suffers many setbacks at the hands of rival teams and home grown opposition fighters because of their inexperience and lack of discipline (especially when it comes to avoiding injuries). The team lose some key players (including the coach's son) to injuries and a couple of them run away because of pressure from their families. Other key members, including a talented young player, are too inexperienced. Kabir is horrified when he finds out that one of the girls has been kidnapped by religious tribal militants. He offers himself as a hostage in exchange for her safety, but after being released he is arrested by the police. They warn him to stay away from this situation whilst simultaneously dismissing his concerns as 'silly' and 'unnecessary'. cfa1e77820
